Raw Data files
These are currently stored in the \System\Rawdata\26yr\ folder, and the list below refers to files and sub-directories within this folder.
- 26yr.accdb.
This is the Access database file (2007 format) containing admin data relating to the collection of the age 26 data, in table MHQprogress. - \Export\ subdirectory, containing raw data files that have been exported from the Access database. They are csv text files.
- \web data files\ subdirectory, containing the cleaned versions of the data files downloaded from the web servers at the end of data collections (TEDS26, CATSLife). These are csv text files.
Dataset files
These files are currently stored in the \System\Datasets\26yr\ folder. The following list refers to items within this folder. They are SPSS data files.
- Zdb9456.sav - the SPSS version of the full 26 Year dataset, including every variable
- \working files\ - this subdirectory contains various intermediate files, saved during the process of converting the raw data into the dataset. These files include working datasets z1ateds26, z1bcatslife, z2clean, z3derive, z4label, z5double (all .sav files), saved from scripts 1a and 1b to 5. The latter data file is identical (except for the name) to the full dataset mentioned above.
Syntax files (scripts)
These files are currently stored in the
\System\Scripts\26yr\ folder.
Note that these are SPSS syntax files. The names of the scripts are
Z1a_import_teds26, Z1b_import_catslife,
Z2_clean, Z3_derive, Z4_label, Z5_double
(all .sps files). The
