The TEDS Behaviour Study

iPads

iPads were amongst the rewards for participants in the study

Young people think, feel and behave in a variety of ways; for example, how they act in the classroom, how they feel about their friends and in their perceptions of themselves. With the Behaviour Study we are hoping to look at how these are similar and how they are different between individuals. This research will help us understand the cause of different behaviours and emotions, and the relationship between emotion and behaviour. These insights will hopefully contribute to the development of strategies that will have a positive impact on young people's lives, such as helping them to feel more confident and do better at school.

The TEDS Behaviour Study has now come to an end for the second wave of TEDS families (twins born between September 1994 and December 1996). Many thanks to all of the families that returned booklets. All twins completing the booklets were rewarded with vouchers, so if you still have a booklet but have not yet returned it, please do so soon to claim your voucher! Twins who returned their booklets before 22nd February 2012 were also entered into a prize draw, and the lucky winners of iPads have now been announced.

Thanks also to the first wave of families (twins born January to August 1994), who participated earlier in 2011. The prize draw for the first wave took place on 27th April 2011 - all winners are listed on our prize draw page.
