Photo competition celebrates the International Year of Biodiversity
Daniel Smith won the competition with this photo. He took it to represent his family's carbon footprint and highlight their impact on global warming. He says: "Even though my family's feet range from 10 to 56 years old, our footprints are a similar size." Of course, this also shows how shared genes can produce similar characteristics across generations of the same family!
We can now announce the winners of the TEDS Biodiversity Photography Competition! To tie in with 2010 being the International Year of Biodiversity, TEDS decided to hold an "Earth"-themed photography competition.
We were very impressed by the quality of the submissions – all the entries were of an excellent standard, with some really wonderful and creative photos! Take a look at the gallery of some of the best entries.
